The University of Colorado School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Colorado invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the field of neural stem cell biology. Individuals using neural stem cells to investigate neural development and the developmental basis of neurological disease are especially encouraged to apply. Primary academic appointment will be to the Department of Pediatrics within the new Developmental Origins of Health and Disease Research Emphasis Area and the Pediatric Stem Cell Program. This position comes with a highly competitive salary, laboratory space and start-up package.
The position will be based on the new state-of-the-art Anschutz Medical Campus located 10 miles east of downtown Denver. There are numerous opportunities to synergize with basic, translational and clinical scientists within the Charles C. Gates Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Biology, Program in Cell Biology, Stem Cells and Development, Center for Neuroscience and other research areas.
