FACULTY RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR, MIT Skoltech Initiative, to be responsible for developing and managing processes for hiring up to 100 international, world-class faculty in the next few years and 200 by the end of the decade. This includes collaborating on the establishment of processes, systems, advertising, communications, logistics, planning, and reporting. Duties include developing procedural and operational guidelines; coordinating activities of search committee and subcommittees; establishing procedures for hosting faculty candidates, serving as point of contact, and arranging all visit logistics; developing domestic and international recruitment strategy; delivering status reports and maintaining project management system; collaborating on a domestic and international outreach program; overseeing ongoing domestic and international faculty advertising in collaboration with the communications team; attending faculty search committee meetings, recording and following up on action items; working with and updating relevant constituents regarding candidates, advertising, and other activities; attending reporting and planning meetings; coadministering/updating the faculty candidate search website; and corresponding with faculty applicants.

REQUIREMENTS: a B.S. in a relevant field; at least three years' experience in recruitment or related field; experience or familiarity with working in higher education; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment; ability to work independently and as part of a complex team; knowledge of recruitment best practices; excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; collaborative style; consulting and diplomacy skills; and computer literacy including knowledge of MS Office and applicant tracking software. MIT experience and some knowledge of database and Web-based graphic design and layout desirable. Experience recruiting faculty preferred. Position may require international travel and attendance at early morning meetings. MIT-00009379
