Under general supervision position will perform casework in Family Assessment Response Unit.
Work involves performing casework duties in a wide range of specialty areas including family and adolescent crisis response, assessment of child abuse and neglect, delinquency and parent/child conflict, and case management for children and families.
Bachelor's degree in a human behavioral science field and a minimum of one year professional case management experience. In order to meet the minimum educational requirements of a human behavioral science degree, the applicant must have a degree with major course work (equivalent to 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours) in either development of human behavior, child development, family intervention techniques diagnostic measures or therapeutic techniques such as social work, psychology, sociology, guidance and counseling, and child development.
Offer of employment contingent on criminal history, MVR check and education verification.
Transcripts will be required at time of interview. If you have a Bachelor or Master's of Social Work, no transcripts are required.
Must have a valid driver's license, if you are from out of state, you must have a valid Colorado driver's license within 30 days of hire date, and you must not have any major violations, nor more than one DUI, DWI, DWAI conviction in the past three years. Must be available for off schedule hours during regular business hours to accommodate court, staff meetings and training.
