Philadelphia FIGHT is looking for an outstanding Family Medicine Physician to join our health care team at a culturally diverse, state-of-the-art, fast-paced urban facility. The Physician provides the patient with primary cost-effective, high-quality integrated care as a means of entry into the health care system, in a competent manner to diagnose and treat illnesses and disorders consistent with medical protocols.
We are seeking a physician for our new John Bell Health Center who is committed to serving low income and disenfranchised populations. Physician will be responsible for rendering professional diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients of Philadelphia FIGHT, consistent with FIGHT policies and accepted guidelines for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records utilizing the FIGHT EMR.
About Philadelphia FIGHT
Philadelphia FIGHT is an AIDS Service Organization that recently became an FQHC. We have been providing primary care for people living with HIV/AIDS and those at very high risk since 1997. We will be expanding our services through the FQHC to enable us to serve more disenfranchised people in our community. Our program is a team-centered multi-disciplinary approach that in addition to clinical care, offers access to behavioral health and substance abuse services, a wide range of educational programs, HIV counseling and testing, and youth programs. The John Bell Health Center will be Philadelphia FIGHT’s third primary care clinic, which currently includes the Jonathan Lax Treatment Center and the Youth Health Empowerment Project (Y-HEP) Health Center.
