The Carolina Center for
Behavioral Health is located in Greer and convenient to Greenville
and areas throughout Upstate, SC. Our facility specializes in
psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment for adolescents, adults
and senior adults. To meet the diverse needs of the community, an
array of inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient programs
focused on mental health and substance abuse treatments are
Nurse Practitioner to work every other weekend. May be able to get
extra hours during the week.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES :
ensure the clinical excellence of CCBH’s continuum of
§ Provides physical assessments and completes
medical history and physicals.
§ Completes requested Medical
§ Orders labs and tests
§ Provides education, as needed, to patients,
families and significant others.
§ Follows practice protocols agreed upon by
§ Maintains and reviews patient medical services
documents and records as necessary.
§ Participates in treatment planning,
implementation and monitoring.
§ Maintain current credentials and continuing
§ Complies with Medical Staff Bylaws and Medical
Staff Rules and Regulations.
§ Adheres to all Hospital policies.
§ Practices Service Excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:
Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license to
practice in the state.
Maintains national certification in nurse practitioner
specialty area. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
ability maintain confidentiality in regards to all information;
skilled in flexibility, organizational, prioritization, and time
management skills; crisis management skills; skills in analysis and
evaluation; sound clinical judgment and decision-making; able to
understand and apply applicable standards and regulations (e.g. The
Joint Commission, CMS, DHEC, etc.).
