The Family Partner is responsible for providing one-on-one interactions with the parents/caregivers of special needs kids. This position works independently in the family’s home and a variety of community settings. This position works directly with adults. Interventions should encourage and promote family independence and self-sufficiency by coaching and supporting the parent.


You must be the parent/caregiver of a special needs child or family member. You must have dealt directly with the Children and Family Services, Department of Behavioral Health, Probation or a Regional Center. Spanish speaking is REQUIRED.


This is a full-time position. The hours vary according to the needs of the family. The average schedule is from 11 to 7 pm. This may occasionally include weekends.

Additional Information:

All qualified applicants must pass the pre-employment physical, drug screen and fingerprinting to be eligible for hire.

A clean driving record, insurance and a dependable car is required.

Must be able to write clear and precise contact notes. A writing sample may be required.
