Gain valuable experience as you work with our professional and innovative clinical team to provide youth and families providing therapeutic training and support services.
Specific duties will include:
Assist master level clinicians in implementing the therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan created by the clinician to address the youth''s mental behavioral and emotional needs
Teaching youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations
Improve patterns of interaction with youth & family to enhance problem-solving, limit-setting, safety planning, communication, and skill building to strengthen family
Improve ineffective patterns of interaction with youth & family
Attend monthly in-service trainings
Maintaining competency in the field via ongoing continuing
Specific qualifications include:
Minimum of High school diploma or GED and a minimum of (2) years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth
Associate''s degree in a human service field from an accredited school and (1) year of experience working with the target population
Bachelor''s degree in a human service field from an accredited university and (1) year experience working with target population.
21 years of age or older.
