Summary / Purpose of Position: The Family Services Coordinator is responsible for identifying, developing, and leading a comprehensive and integrated family strengthening service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops, facilitates and manages activities of Miracle Hill Family Strengthening Services.
Analyzes trends and best practice models and recommends service models and procedural guidelines for providing family strengthening services.
Facilitates meetings, workshops and training sessions for staff and parents.
Engages, supports and effectively works with Families of Miracle Hill clients.
Monitors well- being and progress of the families receiving Family Strengthening services.
Maintain organized records of activities related to the Family Strengthening Service, including but not limited to, family files.
Develop and implement case plans to assist families.
Assure policies are in place to support delivery of quality services.
Collect, compile and analyze data and information; develop recommendations, prepare and present reports to agency leadership.
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with community agencies and organizations to provide resources for families.
Develop proposals, grants and contracts as appropriate in seeking funds for the delivery of services that meet the needs of children and families.
Attends ministry staff meetings and other events as required.
Maintain effective communication with VP of Children’s Ministries, co-workers, external customers and families.
Participate in local, state, and national activities to further professional knowledge and build a network of professional contacts.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Be willing to share the good news of Jesus Christ, give a personal testimony and pray with/for those served by the ministry.
Requires a MSW/MA in Human Service or related area. Minimum 5 years’ experience in community-based agencies or related fields. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience in training and technical assistance in one or more of these disciplines (family support, child welfare, education, mental health or child/youth development. Knowledge of best practice programs preferred. Experience working as a member of a collaborative team.

Be an active participant in a protestant church
Exhibit a genuine concern for the salvation of souls and spiritual welfare of all served by the ministry
Demonstrate spiritual maturity commensurate with the requirements of your position
