Are you passionate about shaping the future of America’s Youth?
Boys Town is changing the way America cares for children, families and communities by providing and promoting an Integrated Continuum of Care that instills Boys Town values to strengthen body, mind and spirit.
As our Family Visitation Specialist you will ensure safety of youth during transportation and supervision of visits with their biological family. Reliability and time management are essential, as you must be on time in transporting the client to and from each location. Through developing a working and trusting relationship with the youth and parent(s) you will assist them in interacting constructively. This will entail observing and assessing both the youth and parent(s) behaviors and then guiding or redirecting them as needed to ensure a successful visit occurs. Additionally, you may need to teach and model parenting skills to the parent(s). You will maintain documentation for each supervised visit and insure reports are submitted within established timelines.
To be considered for this unique opportunity you will need:
High School diploma or equivalent
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field and two years of experience in Human Services is preferred
Excelled verbal and written communication skills
