Requirements: Three to five years experience buying Women’s Updated Sportswear for a high-end fashion retailer with multiple units. Previous experience with Fashion Accessories and fine jewelry a plus. We are searching for an experienced buyer who exhibits strengths in many areas involving product selection, assortment development, marketing, financial planning, and vendor relationships. Proven success in delivering sales, gross margin, and turnover results is required. Candidate will have an established vendor network. Excellent communication and follow up skills. Strong negotiation and presentation skills, and will be capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales, gross margin, and profit goals through the sourcing, selecting, pricing, and promotion of merchandise that supports the Concept Brand. They will develop and implement a marketing strategy, perform analysis, review trend, and take appropriate action in order to maximize the business. The candidate will also effectively research trends by season and identify key opportunities as they emerge with urgency. The candidate will play an active role in directing store presentation and will conduct staff meetings with sales personnel to introduce new merchandise.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. .

Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals; listens carefully and has the ability to perform as a team member.
