As a Field Application Engineer (FAE), you’ll be responsible for helping our customers implement LineStream’s software. As our technical front line, you’ll be responsible for pre-sales and sales support, including application analysis, product implementation, training, support, trouble-shooting, testing and debugging. Whether it’s demonstrating our products to customers or modifying our products to meet a customer’s needs, you’ll be vital to helping LineStream gain new customers.
Support pre- and post-sales efforts with key customers
Implementation, testing, and documentation for customer-specific versions of LineStream software
Point of contact for customer support issues
Trouble-shooting, error rectification and documentation
Track record (3 years) of field applications / customer support experience
Track record (3 years) of motor/motion control experience
Demonstrated grasp of closed-loop control tuning (PID and other methods)
Extensive experience with semiconductor development platforms (hardware and software)
Expert of C/C++ language
Proven organizational, time management, problem solving, and analytical skills
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalents required, master’s degree preferred
