Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Field Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing contractor field planning coordination and oversight in
support of the project construction functions as required and directed by the Construction Manager.

Compiles verifies and correlates technical data related to construction /engineering functions for the assigned cell sites.

Manages the schedule and progress database used for tracking project execution and reporting and monitoring progress of the work for the assigned cell sites.

Coordinates communications and action requirements with general contractors, suppliers, service providers and site acquisition.

Supports the construction process as required via assistance in preparation of materials, requisitions specifications and other related activities and documents.

Coordinates assigned work with other technical personnel as needed to support the construction team’s workload.

Provides direct assistance to the Construction Manager in review of management control systems and status reports.

Reviews RF data sheets for determination of outside antenna work scope.

Perform cell site walk down and provide general constructability guidance relative to the production of construction documents

Assist Construction Manager in coordinating market specific design reviews through the various required organizations (RF and construction) and facilitates sign off for approval and or comments.

Prepare all necessary reports and forms to assure that Field Coordinator contract administration functions are performed to include change notices daily reports quality inspection reports etc.

Perform as site safety representative in oversight of general contractors work.

Required Skills

Cell tower field coordination experience in telecommunications (required)

Field management in telecommunications (required)

Experience in project reporting, resource management, and budget development and delivery (required).

Proficient in Excel.

Ability to plan and organize a team effort.

Good client management and goodwill building ability.

Capacity to motivate, lead and boost morale of the teams.

Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.

Capacity to handle pressure.

Willingness to travel extensively across the construction sites.

Physical and mental fitness is a given.

Strong focus on quality.

Required Experience

Associates degree in civil engineering (preferred).

Minimum six years of experience.

Excellent communication skills.

Good understanding of MEP building systems.

Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential.
