At least five years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience. Minimum of 1 year MQ-1 and/or MQ-9 maintenance experience. Desired skills Previous experience performing Production Superintendent duties and responsibilities. Specific Job Description This position requires OCONUS deployment. Assist Field Engineer Associate Manager. Directs performance of organizational level maintenance, repairs, or modifications IAW applicable publications, government directives, T.O.s, Operating Instructions (OIs), service manual, and authorized depot level directives on MQ-1 and MQ-9 weapons systems. Attends maintenance and scheduling meetings and briefings as required by the government, directs and assists in servicing, pre-, thru-,and post flight inspections, launch and recovery activities, weapons loading and unloading, troubleshooting to the level described in applicable MQ-1 and MQ-9 maintenance, scheduled periodic inspections and post maintenance checks and verifications. When directed, supports test and evaluation, and verification and validation activities IAW approved AFSOC test plans. Supervises and directs tear down and shipment of assets. Enforces strict adherence to technical data and management procedures IAW TO 00-5-1. Ensures complete and accurate documentation of AFTO 781 series forms and IMDS IAW Air Force directives. Signs Exceptional Releases IAW TO 00-20-1. Manages the maintenance production effort by assigning priorities to meet the flying and maintenance schedules. Determines/tracks/reports aircraft status, including ETIC, IAW AFI 21-103 and Lead Command/local directives. Authorizes CANN actions and verifies MICAP conditions exist. Ensures flightline munitions are handled, accounted for, and expended IAW AFI 21-201 and local instructions. Standard Job Description Inspects, troubleshoots and performs scheduled and unscheduled organizational level maintenance utilizing applicable Air Force directives/instructions on MQ-1 and MQ-9 Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA). Performs basic post-flight, thru-flight, preflight, acceptance, and transfer inspections, launch, recovery, towing, servicing, and ground handling actions. Removes and replaces line replaceable units & flight control components. May perform aircraft engine runs. Identifies and communicates maintenance and support requirements to the Site Lead or higher echelons. Performs acceptance and transfer inspections. Ensures complete and accurate documentation of AFTO 781 series forms and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) in accordance with Air Force directives. Security Clearance Secret Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
