Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Requires general knowledge of diesel or gas engines, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components.
• Ability to perform required PM services across a broad range of rental equipment in both field and shop
• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metric.
• Ability to provide repair recommendations and perform minor service repairs in both field and shop
• Work safely and follow all WCAT safety policies and procedures
• Complete related paperwork and access required databases (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS Web, STW) to complete job within an accurate and timely manner
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision
• General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments, lap tops, diagnostic software and cranes and rigging equipment
• This position requires the ability to provide accurate quotes and pricing estimates to the customer.
• Complete and submit accurate and timely service reports and DOT logs.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coordinate PM service schedules to meet customer needs

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference, and volume as required.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and the ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Manufacturing software and Order processing systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• Clean driving record and CDL or ability to obtain the CDL within 60 days of employment.
• Must be at least 21 to be assigned and operate field vehicle
• Successfully complete Work steps assessment
• Will be certified prior to operating a forklift and/or manlift
• May be required to complete DOT physical
• May require MSHA certification
Other Skills and Abilities
Complete all level I web based training. Normally, we would expect an employee to be at this level for 18 – 36 months
