The Field Marketing Manager is part of the Sales and Marketing program which provides best-in-class service to the running specialty and sporting good channels. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and energetic leader who has a passion for the sport of running. He/She will be a team leader and an ambassador for the brand, representing Saucony in the running and athletic community.

  • Partner with Director of Retail Marketing to coach, develop, and lead a geographically diverse team of Regional Team Leaders and Technical Representatives covering sales territories throughout the United States
  • Develop a distinct training curriculum and develop/execute integrated retail marketing programs
  • Manage and support the Saucony Tech Rep Team with on-going education and tools to deliver dynamic retail interaction, resulting in increased product sell through and creating energy and passion for the Brand
  • Participate in the development of marketing programs to support key Saucony product launches and Brand strategy at retail
  • Research and provide qualitative market analysis/current market trends, marketing ROI, competitor information and product feedback
  • Provide focused weekly reports to Marketing, Sports Marketing and Sales

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of Retail Management. Marketing and/or Tech Rep experience or like experience in the Sports and Fitness Industry preferred
  • Thorough understanding of Saucony footwear & apparel products as well as competitor’s footwear, apparel and technology
  • The candidate must have strong communication and delegation skills to lead a geographically diverse team
  • The candidate must be ambitious, organized and have strong time management skills to ensure the region’s Tech Rep team remains focused on executing the brand strategy
  • He/she must be outgoing and personable through daily interactions with accounts, consumers, and team members
  • He/she should be adaptable to the specific needs of each account and event
  • Strong MS Office software skills (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Candidates with previous team leadership experience are preferred
  • The ideal candidate will have a personal connection to the running culture
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to travel extensively
