About the Role: The Field Marketing Manager will manage all OpenDNS events, 3rd-party events/tradeshows and webcasts to ensure they are properly optimized for lead generation as well as produce a positive branding experience. The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving a return on investment for each event based on predetermined mutually agreed upon goals with Marketing and Sales leadership. They will also be responsible for event set-up as well as handling any issues that may surface at the event.
Work with Marketing Team and Sales Leadership to develop an annual event plan and budget.
Work with Marketing Team and Sales Leadership on event preparation including creating strategies for exhibit booth demos, who should attend, what products should be featured, give-aways, etc in order to successfully drive sales leads that will result in future tangible sales.
Manage all aspects of company roadshows, 3rd-party tradeshows, conferences and events.
Coordinate with reseller partners to secure partner sponsorships/participation in OpenDNS events.
Assist with the development of: print collateral, advertisements, tradeshows and corresponding booth content, print media campaigns, email campaigns, direct marketing, general and specific webcasts, particularly related to tradeshows and conferences.
Work with the demand gen. team to report results from all events in Salesforce and Marketo.
Conduct product demos and training opportunities as necessary.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience managing B-to-B webcasts and events, preferably in the internet security industry
Experience working with reseller partners
Flexibility to travel when needed, up to 25% of the time
Strong Knowledge of Webex, Salesforce and Marketo
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong Presentation skills
Proficiency with MS Office and other software applications
Ability to build team unity, working with cross-functional and diverse groups
