This impactful Sales and Marketing program aims to provide best-in-class service to the running specialty and sporting good channels. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and energetic leader who has a passion for the sport of running. The Field Marketing Manager will coach, develop and lead a national team of Tech Reps and work closely with the V.P. of Marketing to cultivate, elevate and evolve this program. The Field Marketing Manager will develop and execute a program strategy in line with the global brand strategy, including a distinct training curriculum and results oriented metrics.

Responsibilities:
  • Coach, develop, motivate, and lead a team of Technical Representatives
  • Manage and support the Tech Rep Team with on-going education and tools to deliver dynamic retail interaction, resulting in increased product sell through and creating energy and passion for the Brand
  • Develop the Team members individually, providing the Brand with a bench to promote from within
  • Participate in the development of marketing programs in support of key Saucony product launches and Brand strategy at retail
  • Research and provide qualitative market analysis/current market trends, marketing ROI, competitor information and product feedback
  • Create and deliver timely reporting on field activity
  • Manage program budget, hiring, and asset management (vehicles, etc.)

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field and 5+ years of Retail Management. Marketing and / or Tech Rep experience or like experience in the Sports and Fitness Industry preferred
  • The Candidate must have a thorough understanding of Saucony footwear, apparel, and technologies as well as the competitive set
  • The ideal candidate will have a personal connection to running culture
  • The candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in order to succeed at managing a large group across multiple regions while staying on strategy
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple projects at simultaneously
  • Strong MS Office software skills (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Ability to travel extensively. Travel includes spending multiple nights away from home and includes some weekends
