Coordinates and facilitates accurate, timely and consistent measurement of produced volumes. The Supervisor's primary responsibilities include managing the daily workflow of a team of Measurement Technicians and/or Contractors, which includes verifying proper operation, testing, calibration, repair, maintenance, and installation of gas and liquid measurement equipment. The Supervisor ensures that gas and liquid sampling is performed properly on a scheduled basis and that field measurement procedures and documentation guidelines are followed in accordance with company, industry, regulatory, and/or contractual requirements. Supervisor ensures safety practices are adhered to by scheduling attendance by team to all required EH&S and Enterprise training and retaining all necessary documentation. Supervisor mentors team and promotes individual and team development. Supervisor partners with local, State and Federal agents, addressing any measurement related issues or routine inspections. Supervisor assists with developing Processes and Procedures and communicates this information to Asset personnel and various intercompany departments. Supervisor will assist Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to resolve measurement related issues and manage the 3rd Party witnessing duties in their assigned areas when required to do so. Supervisor models corporate safety standards and ensures that their subordinates practice the same.
Field Measurement Supervisor attends Asset meetings and stays current on issues and activities within WPX Energy. Supervisor may monitor and manage vendor activities or act as a liaison with other company teams to help facilitate effective and efficient procedures.
Will be responsible for monitoring and managing monthly work schedules by utilizing FlowCal TESTit software and producing and maintaining electronic test form electronically.
Previous measurement supervisory experience is preferred
Working knowledge of EFM / RTU, radio and field infrastructure communications (MDS and FreeWave).
Working knowledge of a Cygnet Platform SCADA system is a plus.
Experience with Emerson / Fisher devices.
Prior experience using Vinson Production Management (VPM) in a Fisher ROC environment.
Experience in wireless transmitters.
Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
Requires computer skills using various programs including most Microsoft Office Suite programs, various EFM and Radio communication application software such as ROCLINK, MDS Transnet, and EZ Config.
Knowledgeable with natural gas and gathering operations is desired.
Knowledge of primary measurement devices such as, orifice and ultrasonic meters is a plus.
Candidate must be highly motivated and be able to work with others in a team environment.
Candidate must be able to work with little or no supervision. The ideal candidate will show ownership and willingness to learn the skills necessary to perform what is required to commission and maintain the measurement/automation of a natural gas gathering system.
Knowledgeable with Natural gas Exploration & Production Field Operations experience preferred.
High school graduate with ten plus years experience is preferred
Valid Driver’s license required.
Must have the ability to lift at least fifty pounds and work in harsh weather conditions.
