To learn more about us, please visit our website at www.sbasite.com.Summary: Support superintendents or lead technicians in managing the construction or installation activities of quality telecommunication sites for commercial deployment of services on an expedited schedule. Responsible for assisting Superintendents or lead technicians interface with site customer representatives, subcontractors and internal crew personnel. Coordinate with Project Managers to control job budgets and ensure proper documentation of all construction activities. Essential Duties Responsibilities: Develop and promote new business opportunities within the market; interact and maintain strong client relations. Develop and Build Subcontractor Base Interview, hire, and train internal field personnel Coordinate/Attend site/bid walks and review blueprint to gather information pertaining to actual site conditions, subcontractor costs, etc. for use in preparing accurate estimate of job cost. Develop compressive Scope of Work to include comprehensive list of materials and vendors; Responsible for assisting Superintendent in interface with onsite customer representatives, subcontractors and internal personnel. Prioritize and schedule superintendents, subcontractors and crews as well as all equipment and materials needed; Ensure all appropriate zoning permits and lease status approvals have been received prior to initiating construction; Effectively delegate day-to-day demands of the project to Superintendents and Foremen while overseeing the overall success of the project and keeping the client informed; Ensure construction is performed in a quality and timely manner in accordance with plans, specifications, budget, ISO procedures, schedule and customers expectations. Periodically visit each job site as required to confirm adherence to schedule, budget, and customer requirements. Monitor all close out documentation to insure it meets all client requirements; Work closely with Project Manager on proper WIP management and forecast adjustments; Maintain the Fleet of vehicles and equipment assigned to your area and assist with DOT log books/requirements as needed; Review and approved time sheets, expense reports, invoices, purchase orders and change orders; Assist in development and building of subcontractor base. Interview, hire, train and manage internal field personnel. Assist superintendents in prioritizing and scheduling subcontractors and crews as well as all equipment and materials needed. Perform other related duties as required to ensure a safe workplace, quality construction and timely completion of each project. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Hire, train and develop a qualified Superintendents, Foremen, Field Technicians and Lead Technicians. Provide development plans for staff as needed. Counsel and terminate staff as deemed necessary in conjunction with Human Resources. Education and/or Experience: BA/BS strongly preferred in Business or Construction Management or equivalent work experience. 5+ years experience in a construction/supervisory related roles required. Must have demonstrated the intermediate knowledge and ability to work with MS Office and MS Outlook. Extensive overnight travel required by air and ground transportation. Experience with ISO standards of performance may be required. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Driver's License is required.
