The Field Sales Engineer manages all aspects of the ADI/customer relationship for a set of established customers in IL and WI. The FSE drives growth at his customer base through prioritized demand creation and relationship building activities. The primary measurements of success in this role are revenue growth and strategic corporate alignment with key customers.
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of the IL and WI semiconductor markets. A strong base of existing customer relationships is a plus. The FSE should be able to describe critical customer system architectures and advocate win/win semiconductor technology solutions.
Critical business skills include: stakeholder relationship management, executive engagement, strategic account planning, value proposition development, opportunity pipeline management, business trend analysis, negotiations, and working in a matrixed organizational environment.
Candidates should have a BSEE or equivalent and good working knowledge of analog technology principles.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
