Reporting to the Senior Director Product Marketing, International, this position will be the main interface to oversee, and introduce, TiVo products to our international customers. You will also identify, document, and negotiate any changes or additions to TiVo products and features for international customers. You will be responsible for representing TiVo products and features to customers, and bringing international market requirements back to the TiVo core product team. In addition, this role will be responsible for leading the overall product team’s implementation of the Contour Product Requirements tool. This tool is the repository for all feature definition at TiVo and is central to how features are reviewed, approved and leveraged. This position will have the unique opportunity to play the pivotal role, providing the glue that connects TiVo customers and internal engineering and product teams together.

Here’s what you get to do:
Present TiVo products and features to customers, with deep understanding of potential local market needs that may be required for international success.

Represent customer needs, via detailed requirements documents to internal product and engineering teams.

Negotiate features with customers, with a focus on establishing well-understood schedules, features, and cost for any modifications to TiVo features and products.

Act as a bridge between customers and the core TiVo product team to bring TiVo innovation to international customers while communicating local market requirements back to TiVo.

Evangelize the TiVo vision and lead regular customer product reviews and demos

Support the sales team when presenting to prospective clients.

Identify new target markets, products and features that can be implemented to accelerate subscriber deployments

Work closely with TiVo engineering and the core product team to dream up the future of global television on every connected device.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:
Self-starter, leader, high energy level, excellent communication skills.

Strong understanding of interactive TV products and user experiences.

Relentless drive to create new business by identifying new market focused products and features for international television distributors.

Proven success in translating complex ideas into easy to understand features and detailed requirements documents.

Demonstrated ability to “go deep” on feature definition and use case descriptions for engineering. You must be able to prepare, present, and defend business justifications to senior members of internal and external teams.

Strong analytical skills with proven ability to boil ambiguous requirements down to solid cost estimates that can be presented to customers.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects at once, and to prioritize activities for optimal results.

Previous experience working with interactive TV, middleware, IPTV or VOD.

Strong team orientation and a track record of working collaboratively with internal and external team members in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree required

MBA preferred, or representative experience of equal value.

Ability to travel often with short notice.
