MarketStar's has an opportunity available for a Field Sales Manager who will direct and coordinate all area activities for the assigned district as well as ensure that personnel are adequately trained on products and programs to help drive sales, and are efficient and effective. The Field Sales Manager is also responsible for client relations, programs, event management, meeting sales quota and building relationships with retail partners.

Establish and maintain professional business relationships with various client business units and channels. Manage district by working with account management, client representatives and other resources in planning, developing and administering effective marketing strategies, solutions, and polices consistent with established company-wide goals and initiatives. Oversee district management in a specific geographic area thru directing, controlling and supervising Field Sales Representatives in an assigned territory. Develop regional plans that focus on strategies and tactics which ultimately drive sales and ROI. Develop and coach team members in sales methodologies and job responsibilities that allow them to be industry leaders. Establish, maintain, and leverage higher level relationships with retail partners and client executive teams. Administer MarketStar programs, policies, practices and initiatives. Drive and Meet Sales Quota. Related duties as required and/or assigned. Monday through Friday workweek, but available on Saturday for representatives which is an essential function of the job.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business management or closely related business field is preferred Four or more years professional level sales experience, preference will be given for experience in the wireless/telecom industry Three or more years supervisory experience preferred At least one year Field Team management experience, preference may be given to candidates who have managed a field sales team (requirement may be waived to candidates who are currently on the M*/Retail Client Team) Ability to drive, sustain and manage a sales force Strong skill sets with Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong analytical skills Need to be self-motivated with minimal supervision Able to demonstrate effective team management Experience in developing and carrying out business plans Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Able to interact at all levels of business Able to manage and coordinate projects Ability to complete the sales cycle from beginning to end Ability to coach, train, and mentor team on the sales cycle
