Position Title: Field Service Supervisor

In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity To:
Responsible for providing direction and technical expertise to teams in the field. Oversee and give direction to multiple crews. Act as a liaison, providing communication to technicians in the field and operational management. Interface with site-level management. Actively participate and provide input concerning resource and fiscal management, training, project planning, and talent management. Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is completed and procedures followed. Act as a leadership resource for lead technicians. Drive EHS initiatives and compliance through establishing trust, providing resources, communicating and training technicians at all levels.
To Be Successful in This Position, You Will Need:
High School diploma or GED.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
Ability and willingness to climb ladders without assistance, and work at heights greater than 300 feet from the ground surface.
Ability and willingness to be available for rotation shift schedules 24 hours seven days a week.
1 to 3 years mechanical or electrical maintenance experience.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve.
Ability and willingness to read, and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and regulations; to write reports/procedures; to subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
To effectively communicate (written and verbal) with co-workers, clients, etc.
Technical knowledge of the safety risks associated with providing technical services to wind power.
To execute work and accomplish tasks in a safe manner.
To travel extensively as part of the employee's schedule.
Ability to lead and communicate with groups of individuals with varying levels of skills and diverse backgrounds.
Ability to develop innovative strategies to overcome project delays or problems.
Ability to correctly assess talent and delegate according to skill level.
Advanced understanding and expertise concerning one area of technician competence.
