ServRight has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. We are looking for the right individual who will provide outstanding customer service while servicing paper shredders and bindery equipment.

Job Description:
The Field Technician position affords an independent work environment where you travel to local customer sites to troubleshoot, repair and maintain bindery and finishing equipment. Earning potential increases as technician improves efficiency, customer satisfaction and develops new accounts.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Answering service calls for customers, and our service and sales organizations.
  • Maintaining and servicing bindery equipment and paper shredders.
  • Developing relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Providing ongoing customer training.

Job Requirements:
  • Experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment (i.e. copiers, paper handling systems, copy finishing equipment or similar).
  • Proven experience and proficiency with electro-mechanical diagnostic repair tools and test equipment.
  • Applicant must currently live in service area and be available for immediate hire.
  • Previous experience with servicing office and/or copy equipment preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware and software systems is desired.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize service orders.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • A strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
  • AA degree or equivalent experience.
