Responsibilities Include:
  • Becoming familiar with Taylor Industries Service and Warranty Department procedures and methods
  • Maintaining customer relationships in order to provide effective and efficient support in order to provide excellent resolution to product issues
  • Traveling to customer sites to address customer service needs on a timely basis to reduce customer “down time”
  • Preliminary diagnostic and maintenance work
  • Scheduling and maintaining company service vehicle
  • Adherence to all items listed on the “Expectations and Requirements” for the Field Service Technician
  • Notifying Service and Warranty Manager of any trends that show repeated failures in parts or procedures
  • Special projects as required
Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • Applicable vocational training preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Strong background or equivalent training in heavy mechanics, hydraulics and electrical systems preferred
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in field service or heavy machinery or rig shop
  • Valid Drivers’ License (or Commercial License) preferred
