Field Services Technician is an important member of both the Client Support Services and Sales Teams. FST will ensure product is installed and serviced in a timely and safe manner while ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting company expectations. The FST in this role will cover the Lower Hudson New York area.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Communicate any technical trends, suggested department enhancements or high priority information to management.
Ensure that the highest quality of service is provided to promote superior customer satisfaction.
Complete installation and repairs on all Teq products encompassing all aspects from general maintenance, hardware troubleshooting and full product integration.
Complete documentation with elaborate detail and submit all necessary reports according to department and company policy.
Maintain field replacement stock by managing parts utilized and ensuring all data is reported into the office to replenish stock used.
Able to work flexible hours in order to meet customer expectations/limitations on arrival and departure times for service.
Maintain tools in good working condition.
Drive personal vehicle to and from destinations, adhering to all traffic laws.
Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.
Be prepared to work in varying environmental conditions.
Able to recreate customers reported technical issues in order to appropriately diagnose and resolve.
2 year’s experience in providing exceptional customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in A+ and Network +/ As well as strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS.
1 to 2 years construction/carpentry skills
Ability to lift over 50lbs
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
