Within the Fulfillment Finance team an opportunity for a Field Services Financial Analyst, Americas has arisen. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial analysis, review & closing processes of ~ 15 countries where Aero has Field Services activities. The local accounting & reporting is primarily supported & managed by GE’s Global Operations (GGO). The FS Finance Analyst will play a key role in the controllership, compliance, accounting, financial review & analysis of Field
The FS Americas analyst role is a great blend of Compliance & Controllership along with FP&A and Accounting. In addition, you will:
Report to the Global Field Services Finance Manager in Houston
Review & upload of trial balance prepared by GGO and manage related Edit Checks
Ensure finance records are maintained timely, accurate and complete with month / quarter close
Communicate Final Balances / ACA confirmations / Oracle AR Invoice list / Others
Perform cross charges, WIP, Sales & Expenses reconciliations
Seconded labor cross charge reconciliation for travelling Field Services engineers
Provide regular feedback to GGO thru scorecard
Work with Tax Experts to ensure local tax compliance for Field Services business; CIT & PIT (employees abroad Personal Income Tax)
Support in data collection for local statutory filings
Ensure SoX compliance and follow up on Corporate Audit Staff findings / requests where required
Forecast and manage performance against goals and key metrics and participate in planning cycles
Participate in the Account Reconciliation process, own a specific group of accounts and monitor GGO account recs
Drive compliance, reporting expansion, process improvement and consistency of accounting processes across the region
Support of Finance and Business ad hoc analysis/simplification projects DR4 alignment & automatic feed projects
Bachelor or Master degree in Finance / Business Administration
Minimum of 3 years of progressive finance experience in a complex environment

Oracle 11i / Hyperion / Cognos experience

FMP graduate (GE Employees only)
