MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership that encourages a team culture of knowledge and information sharing, career mentoring,coaching, direction, and, supervision to the designated team members, which include but are not limited to Client Service, Closing and Title Examiner teams, in delivering consistent and extraordinary service to all clients. Leadership and supervision specifically includes selecting, developing, motivating, evaluating, and compensating team members. Displays effective team skills with leadership abilities to delegate and expand team member capabilities while enhancing productivity. Promotes a professional image to the team and clients and provides discretionary service which exceeds client expectations. The incumbent provides and promotes first-level client service, determines client’s needs, and meets those needs to the extent of the incumbent’s delegated authority. Leads an assigned team within the Field Services team to provide consistency throughout the organization.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years of related experience in a financial lending role, preferably supervisory with client service focus which may include loan processing/loan closing, or equivalent. The position requires previous supervision experience or training and proven collaboration skills. Exceptional knowledge of AgStar loan products and services and credit operations is preferred. Must be self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills and makes a significant contribution to the productivity and effectiveness of the organization. Strong knowledge of collateral security, AgStar, AgriBank, and FCA policies and procedures. Requires experience providing face-to-face service to internal and external clients. Incumbent must be able to utilize computer technology and a wide variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, and financial accounting. Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and strong critical thinking abilities are necessary. Solid oral and written communication skills are required.
