Film Tour Print Production Artist

The company known for the largest action sports film on the planet is seeking a Print Production Artist (PPA) to support our 64 th annual film tour.

We’re looking for an energetic, self-motivated, patient, positive thinking, multi-tasking phenom of a PPA who has no qualms becoming a bit of a ghost to their friends for the next few months. We’re looking for someone who can accept their role as a PPA (with an emphasis on PRODUCTION) and is willing to put their creative aspirations on the shelf until called upon.

Have a tough time working very long hours, for less pay than your worth, under stressful situations? Stop here, and let us know if you find that kind of posh gig (we’re still looking). Excel under pressure, have thick skin and have a knack for finding light at the end of a long, long, long, long tunnel? Then you just might be our type.

Still reading? Good. What else? We need someone who is proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. This is a fulltime, contract position that will run from early June through early December. Salary is based on experience.

Here is a look at what you’ll actually be doing at Warren Miller:

  • Design all aspects of market specific & national promotional materials – including posters, flyers, postcards and theater coupons. All markets, all versions.

  • High involvement in the Print Collateral production process for all promotional materials. Work directly with print house on press checks, revisions, etc.

  • Design and reformat all market specific and national print ads. Each ad version contains varying show dates and times, varying resort and retailer offers, varying ticketing information, etc.

  • Design and layout our press materials.

  • Editorial & art direction support.

  • Format (sizing, file types, correction) large quantities of all logos, photos, etc.

  • Manipulate poster artwork & film logo for use on other various types of collateral (banners, VIP badges, stickers, etc.).

  • Create sponsorship materials (car decals, booth graphics/signage, POS, etc.).

  • Design, customize and format email templates for national & market specific email blasts.

  • Design and reformat all market specific and national web ads.

  • Design a variety of other web-based promotional assets (YouTube headers, Facebook Timeline imagery, etc.).

  • Gear Store design support.

  • Design the cover for the film’s promotional DVD, based on the film’s poster artwork.

  • Design & layout the Snoworld “Door Prize Card.”

  • NASTAR design support – details TBD.

  • Lots of miscellaneous design projects that will keep you multi-tasking all day long!
