*This is a 6 month contract starting in May 2013 - December 2013* Position Summary: Provide financial oversight for Money Services, Financial Services and Telecom products. Identify and communicate key issues, trends, current results, and potential issue resolutions. Responsible for tracking, reporting and analysis of the financial metrics required to support the assigned business units. Establish the accounting processes necessary for the business working in conjunction with business partners. Role model and demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others. Essential Job Functions: Assesses business units’ financial performance progress throughout the year by preparing and reporting all actual results and budget and/or forecast variances Calculates and communicates financial results, trends, and key business performance indicators and issues to senior management and business teams. Includes highlighting and quantifying current and potential future variances and working with business teams to develop action plans to resolve variances Collaborate with business owners to develop annual budgets and ongoing forecasts for the assigned business units. Working on consolidation Collaborate with business owners to develop business cases that will assist with prioritization of initiatives, financial models for new business development, and to identify and report key financial measures including post implementation review, ad hoc reporting, and standard periodic reporting Develop changes to financial performance reporting including improving efficiency, increasing automation and introducing new reporting to meet new project or product needs Responsible for ensuring that all processes and procedures are documented once they have been established Enthusiastically communicate and promote initiatives throughout the organization and as appropriate with third parties Participate in a culture of open and honest communications throughout the organization Special projects as requested Position Qualifications: 5+ years’ progressively responsible experience in financial role or accounting 3-5 years of extensive financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products. Expert level Excel skills a MUST. Be able to summarize large amount of data to draw business conclusions and spot emerging trends Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Sound knowledge of financial regulations and accounting policies that apply to the business Strong planning and forecasting modeling skills Team oriented, self-starter, be flexible, with positive attitude Ability to multi-task and prioritize
