The Principal Financial Group is currently seeking top talent for an exciting opportunity within our Corporate Treasury area as a Financial Analyst IV. This is a dynamic opportunity for the right person to utilize their strong communication and operational control skills to positively impact the business.
Other responsibilities may include:
- Providing recommendations to business units regarding bank accounts, fees, services and systems.
- Identifying and researching areas of risk as well as business gaps within the operations business unit and partnering with various individuals and teams to recommend and implement solutions. This is achieved by effectively gathering feedback from the various areas of the business and taking appropriate action based on strong business acumen.
- Understand and monitor banking regulation changes, industry standards and trend and apply that knowledge to the business through ensuring operational efficiencies.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or financial services with a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience is required. CPA is preferred.
Must have strong problem solving, leadership and analytical skills. Good oral and written communication skills required. Must have good interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills. Demonstrates the ability to accept and adapt to a changing environment. Knowledge of spreadsheet and database or similar PC software packages, or the ability to learn, is preferred.
