Centre College Financial Aid Coordinator (Financial Aid Office) Danville, Kentucky

This job reports to the Associate Dean and Director of Financial Aid .

Relocation is not provided and travel is not required.

This is a Part-Time position , working 1st Shift .

Overview
Individual will provide support for the Financial Aid and the Admission office. Individual will report directly to the Associate Dean and Director of Financial Aid.

This is a 10 month position, mid-August through mid-June. Individual will work 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday for the academic year.

Counsel parents and students in regard to their financial aid questions;

Responsible for data entry of documents received and document tracking management in the CX system;

Counsel parents and students in regard to their financial aid questions;

Responsible for data entry of documents received and document tracking management in the CX system;

Responsible for creating and maintaining student financial aid files;

Manage communication flow of incomplete financial aid applications and follow-up;

Examine verification and special circumstance information received and request missing signatures and schedules;

Assist in producing financial aid award letters using the CX system and Word documents;

Maintain admission and financial aid budgets including ordering supplies, requesting check payments and monitoring budget accounts;

Work with cashier in resolving billing issues and student billing questions;

Prepare various financial aid mailings;

Revise and maintain institutional financial aid forms;

Assist in conducting missed loan exit interviews;

Manage incoming communications (phone, fax, etc.) and mail;

Manage federal ISIR (Institutional Student Information Record) print production;

Coordinate project responsibilities with Financial Aid Analyst.

Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree preferred

Bachelors degree preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to effectively and pleasantly communicate with the public (oral and written). Excellent keyboarding skills. Ability to organize and manage workload independently. Must be detailed oriented with attention to accuracy. Ability to skillfully work with Microsoft Word and Excel. General facility with learning and using electronic processes quickly and well. Familiarity with federal tax return forms and schedules.
