The Financial Analyst is responsible for valuations and other financial analyses required for the company’s mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and strategic investment activity. The Financial Analyst conducts M&A financial due diligence, merger consequences analyses and strategic/financial analyses for a range of corporate actions, including strategic transactions, capital decisions and other special projects in support of the executive management team and Board of Directors. The Financial Analyst is also closely involved in long-range strategic planning, performing peer competitive analyses and evaluating the strategic position of the company’s business portfolio. The position involves extensive co-ordination with internal and external parties, including investment bankers, consultants, corporate and sector strategic and financial planners, and other business management functions
BA/BS Degree or equivalent and (3) years minimum related evaluation/analytical/transaction experience. MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) skills required.
MBA and/or CFA preferred.
