General Summary:
Responsible for developing and maintaining financial analysis processes and reporting need for the various business units including monthly financial variances forecasting costing key metrics and trends. Assist departments with the annual budget process for their area develop standard templates and processes provide historical trending analysis.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Responsible for assisting the departments with the financial variance reporting process to allow management to track budget and actual expense information.

2. Compile and summarize the monthly variance information for executive level reporting – financials and costing. Track information throughout the year to provide historical trend analysis.

3. Identify and implement improvements in reporting cost analysis and process with how Finance can be a valuable resource to the supported departments.

4. Develop and maintain financial metrics and cost analysis. Analyze results with explanations for growth and/or decline spikes changes in trend and budget to actual variances.

5. Create analysis to evaluate and track the costs of services and to assist in development of strategic plans and monitoring of performance.

6. Perform department unit pricing activities which may include cost of ownership activity based cost analysis etc.

7. Act as liaison between Finance and departments.

8. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis for departments as required.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
1. Attention to detail.
2. Knowledge of basic accounting theories and practices.
3. Knowledge of financial concepts relative to profitability and financial ratios.
4. Strong Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills.
5. Good judgment.
6. Analytical skills.
7. Strong oral and written skills.
8. Self-starter.

Education and Experience:
1. Bachelors Degree required in Finance Accounting or Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
2. Financial analysis experience with a proven record of success.
3. Payment industry experience a plus.
