Financial Analyst

Location:

Detroit, MI – Renaissance Center

Overview:
This position is on the US Auto Financial Analysis team and will be responsible for certain aspects of dealer reward programs including program reporting, performance and variance analysis, and other business analysis.

Responsibilities:


Assist business leaders in the development, implementation and improvement of dealer rewards programs

Develop reporting and analysis tools for measuring the financial impact and effectiveness of reward programs

Prepare profitability analyses in support of management business decisions

Contribute to ad hoc analytical projects as necessary both within and beyond your primary area of focus

Work collaboratively with Sales Performance, Finance, Risk, IT and other partners to ensure enterprise objectives are met

Drive audit compliance within the areas for which you are responsible
Requirements:


BS/BBA degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required

Advanced degree or CPA/CFA (or working toward) preferred

Minimum 1-3 years previous work experience in Finance or related field required

Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills required

Ability to organize data, perform independent analysis and prepare management presentations

Attention to detail balanced with knowing the right altitude necessary to deliver on requirements

Energetic and inquisitive, quick learner, takes initiative

Ability to work in a complex matrix organization and to operate in ambiguity

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
