The Financial Analyst reports to the Revenue Manager and is responsible for maintaining the financial and record keeping systems and processing financial transactions associated with developing software as well as invoicing per the customer contracts. The analyst may review daily reports of revenue summary for errors and help auditors to complete annual audits. The Financial Analyst will work with the project implementation teams, sales teams and senior management.

• Calculate and invoice professional services per the software contract
• Escalate past-due invoices to the Revenue Manager
• Calculate and invoice milestone license and statement of work billings and maintenance billings
• Support the monthly revenue forecasting for all lines of business and products
• Manage, administer, and conduct instruction of time tracking system
• Weekly distribution of customer status reports to managers
• Maintain and publish matrix summarizing Project Manager history on weekly status reports
• Assist in the monthly Financial Reports to customers with active implementation projects
• Answer customer questions about invoices and project status
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of customer information
• Build strong relationships and work with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Assist in production of regular monthly reports for Senior Management
• Create ad-hoc reports as requested by management
• Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed
• Business Administration Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 1-3 years consulting/outsourcing industry experience
• Experience with contracts
• Only applicants legally authorized to work in the U.S., company will not sponsor visa matters
• Experience with customer invoicing including time and materials billing
• Understands GAAP revenue recognition for software companies
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong detail oriented work ethic
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and project management skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookup functions, pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
