    Job Summary

    The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the management reporting needs of the business units that allows for timely management decisions. This involves interactions with management regarding sensitive corporate material and participation on cross-functional teams. Specific responsibilities include financial modeling, preparation and analysis of management reports and forecasts, as well as identifying and communicating business trends and the impact of management decisions. This position is also responsible for collaborating on the development and maintenance of key performance indicators and scorecards and will participate in various process improvement initiatives.

    Essential Functions

    • Support consumer financing receivable programs strategies by developing data-driven analyses and recommendations.
    • Maintain and manage reporting of portfolio performance and provide weekly updates to senior management.
    • Proactively identify trends or developments that may impact business plan, performance or which may present opportunities,
    • Implement and make enhancements to receivable models, reducing mismatches between estimates and actual portfolio performance, and ensuring consistency between the data inputs, modeling approach, and analysis objectives.
    • Integrating data from multiple reports and sources to develop predictive models to forecast performance and repayment behavior.
    • Work with legal/compliance to implement and monitor legal aspects of the programs
    • Support ad hoc and time sensitive analyses from senior management
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the company

    Job Requirements and Qualifications

    Education:

    • BS/BA in Finance or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required

    Experience:

    • 1 to 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst dealing with consumer financing and/or consumer receivables
    • Minimum 3 years of financial reporting and analysis work experience

    Knowledge, skills and abilities

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel
    • Advanced analytical skills and able to manage large amounts of data
    • Solid understanding of credit markets
    • Flexibility to perform in an ever-changing work environment
    • Proficient knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis with a focus on improving decision making.
    • Broad understanding of various financial management areas such as financial statement analysis, accounting, budgeting, revenue analysis, costing, consolidated financials.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate financial information to non-accountants.
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, policies and proposals in a highly effective and efficient manner.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.
    • Proven ability to prioritize and manage workload and to instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines.
    • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities to meet deadlines on short notice.
    • Flexibility to perform in an ever-changing work environment

    Special Information (Travel required, physical requirements, etc.):

    • Additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals and projects
    • Ability to sit for long periods of time
