Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Monitor, report, analyze, and explain actual financial performance versus budgets and forecasts. The primary metrics which are analyzed include operating expense, project costs, internal company billings and related operational drivers.
Provide management with ad hoc reporting solutions to facilitate their ability to financially manage the IT. Partner with other finance team members to successfully achieve ITC Finance team goals.
Participate in planning and developing the annual operating expense and capital budgets for the IT operating division being supported. Throughout the year develop revised forecasts of expected monthly expenses and the full-year results for the IT operating division.
Review and maintain processes within accounting policies and standards and ensure business operates within Corporate compliance policies and standards. .
Partner with the organization to effectively manage financial processes and performance. Proactively document, monitor and facilitate improvements in the company's financial and business processes (e.g., accounting, invoice processing, compliance, contracting, procurement, reporting) to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the IT operating division of ITC being supported by the Financial Analyst.
BS in Finance or Accounting
1-3 years experince in budgeting
Strong communication skills are required to explain financial results when the audience may not have a finance background.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) experience with BPC, and Ariba are a plus
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters. *LI-EF1
