The Financial Analyst reports to the Manager-Finance and determines reasonableness of financial summaries, including appropriateness of allocations, determine explanations for variations from expectations and reasonableness of budget amounts compared to historical results. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Compile and analyze financial results by producing monthly budget to actual variation reports.
Research department expense detail.
Assist in the production of the company annual budget.
Assist in revenue recognition.
Generate various business segment analyses.
Track impact of operations on financial incentives.
Other tasks as assigned by the Manager-Finance.
Bachelors degree in business field (Accounting/Finance preferred).
Must be proficient with Excel and have the ability to present significant amounts of data into applicable summaries.
Must have a good financial background and ability to reason the results of the data.
Knowledge of accounting data bases.
Must also be detail oriented and self motivated.
