The Financial Analyst, Practice Operations Support will work with the Practice Operations Support Team supporting all financial and analytical functions for the entire Physician Services Department including but not limited to-Employed Practices, Net Collectible Guarantees physicians, Physician Recruitment, Physician Resource Initiative, In-Market Practice Acquisitions, etc. The candidate will be responsible for building reports and analyzing data that supports the initiatives for the Physician Services Department.
Assist with the development, organization, and management of all Physician Services functions:
Support the Assistant Controller in automating, reconciling, and reviewing , the ARMAP monthly functions and processes for recording all the revenue cycle entries to the general ledger.
Assist with all monthly and quarterly provider-related financial statements.
Assist and train Market Directors and Market Managers on utilizing the automated ARMAP tool (SRC).
Assists in the developing, building and analyzing all financial reporting for the Physician Services Team. Supports the Assistant Controller in all analytics that measure the performance of the key operational indicators in the department.
Assists in the preparation of executive-level Monthly Operational Review Presentations and Group Packets which include high-level summaries and exception reports in regards to all functions within the Physician Services Department
Assist with collecting and analyzing income guarantee data/financial information to report on success of physician income guarantees.
Maintain the provider count database used to track, reconcile and report on all providers employed by LifePoint Hospitals Practice Management Entities.
Develop and analyze employed Practice Management information related to: PQRI; E-prescription; Meaningful Use; Core Measure; CG-CAHPS and H-CAHPS; Physician Satisfaction; admission rates; etc.
Participate in the coordination and execution of a variety of special projects primarily related to but not limited to employed providers/practices, physician recruitment, physician on-boarding (employed and income guarantee), employed practice revenue cycle and in-market practice acquisitions.
Assists in the ongoing development of operational efficiencies for all financial systems.
Communicates effectively with internal and external contacts with regards to department.
Establishes maintains, processes, and updates files, records, certificates, and/or other documents
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 3-5 years of finance, reporting, data analysis, and/or data warehousing.
Must possess expert level skills with Microsoft Office suite- Excel and Access
Knowledge and application of financial modeling and statistical analyses.
Experience with eClinicalWorks and/or Athena is a plus.
Experience with SRC/Business Objects is a plus.
Must possess excellent communication skills at all levels, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to tailor the message to individuals and audiences across the organization.
Experience with the Physician Recruitment Process
3 years experience in communicating with Executive Level Hospital O’s, and Corporate VPs as it relates to the recruitment and employment of Physicians.
Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines. Ability to think strategically and act tactically.
Possess good organizational skills and ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with others.
