The financial analyst is responsible for monitoring budgets, forecasts and financial models. The analyst will also assist in the preparation of presentation materials for clients. As an employee of IAS, the following two requirements are applicable:

Develop and implement financial and operational reporting
Work collaboratively with team lead in defining, designing, planning and implementing reporting and business solutions to improve profitability and overall business function
Analyze reporting, make recommendations to team lead/manager to enhance and improve reporting. Identify needs for the development and implementation of additional reporting solutions.
Support reporting applications developed for other business units – answer questions, research anomalies, etc.

Strong analytical skills
Research, retrieve and organize data
Ability to extract, organize, prioritize, analyze and audit data to detect and correct errors
Excellent oral and written communication skills to help explain financial analysis, trending and data to others
Education or Formal Training
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, engineering or similar technical discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience
5+ years’ experience in finance and accounting related functions.
Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, pricing, cost accounting, and other varied financial disciplines.
Experience working on a team or in cross-functional work groups, project management and/or process improvement
Medium experience with MS Excel
Some experience with MS Access
Excel VBA experience preferred
Requires continual sitting at a desk.
Considerable repetitive motion of hands and wrists as relates to the use of a computer keyboard.
