The Financial Analyst, under the supervision of the Plant Controller, performs advanced clerical/technical support services in the accounting, verifying and documenting of company financial and payroll transactions .
Exhibits proficiency in technical area assigned and provides back up to Sr. Financial Analyst
Act as backup of Finance Associate for payroll administration
Assists in annual profit plan and quarterly forecast review
Assists in month-end financial closings
Coordinate with Central Commercial Finance to processes retro-billing as deemed necessary
Issues debit and credit memos to customers, and balances Inter-Company Accounts. Maintains records for in-transit shipments. Reconciles in-bound freight documents including review of IC3s.
Maintains freight invoices, reviews freight log for old outstanding invoices, and prepares monthly journal entries.
Maintains the permanent accounting records
Performs other duties deemed necessary the Plant Controller
Prepare and distribute monthly actual vs budget report to departmental managers and review large variance with departmental managers and the Plant Controller
Processes various types of reports, tabulated lists, calculations, postings and forms or records such as labor distribution data; prepares journal entries affecting accounts receivables, payroll, and freight.
Responsible for coordinating with the Shared Service Center (SSC) Accounts Receivable on but not limited to following areas: assisting cash application on quantity discrepancy working with Materials,
attending weekly A/R meeting with the SSC, reviewing manual shipper log and discrete billing, updating daily ship-to-bill reconciliation and working with Materials on quantity discrepancy on timely basis.
Responsible for coordinating with the Shared Service Center Account Payable on but not limited to following areas: working with Materials and Quality to resolve A/P D-log on weekly basis, ensuring
invoices paid per payment term as defined on Purchase Orders and any other issues related to Accounts Payable.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all government tax regulations
Responsible for monthly freight reconciliation between projected freight costs and freight payments to ensure sufficient freight accrued.
Responsible for the maintenance of a safe work area and the enforcement of the company safety policy.
Review and monitor check book system for indirect expense control
The Financial Analyst has the authority and responsibility to identify, stop and record quality problems, prevents nonconformity reoccurrences, updates and runs absent reports, runs monthly attendance reports,
participates in audits, and controls further processing by monitoring problem solutions.
Updates daily reports for the daily staff meeting
Education and / or Experience:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to take ownership of ambiguous situations
Ability to work well under deadlines and pressures

Bachelors Degree in accounting or equivalent
Extensive use of MS Excel and general knowledge of MRP & SAP systems
Knowledge of basic accounting theory and methods.
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley
Three or more years in a manufacturing environment and/or public accounting
