Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota seeks a Financial Analyst to work directly with Program and Accounting staff to coordinate planning, forecasting, and budgeting; develop and revise business models, perform variance and other financial analysis, assist in creating action plans to respond to budget variance, and assist in negotiation and review of contracts. The Financial Analyst will also safeguard Agency assets and clients’ assets through management of the Agency’s internal audit program and will also train staff on procedures at each location. Additionally, they will perform compliance audits on Counseling Pay for Performance programs.
*Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
*3-5 years experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related experience
*High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, used extensively for analysis.
*Experience with Great Plains software preferred, prior budgeting experience strongly preferred and auditing experience also preferred.
*Due to travel for program audits a valid driver's license is required along with ability to pass organizations motor vehicle and background check.
