Analyze daily wagering data and resolve discrepancies
  • Perform commission rate checks in CHRIMS. Communicate results directly with Simulcast Director
  • Analyze simulcasting revenue and wagering trends
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of revenue during the month end close
  • Resolve TOTE related discrepancies and irregularities
  • Prepare pari-mutuel settlements
  • Communicate with simulcast agents
  • Prepare weekly Executive reports
  • Prepare simulcasting reports for Simulcast Department
  • Perform P&L variance analysis and write-up for pari-mutuel revenue and expense lines
  • Assist with the assembly of monthly reporting packages
  • Assist with the creation of the annual business plan
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting as necessary

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
    • Positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team environment
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables and V-Lookups) and knowledge of PowerPoint
    • Ability to establish priorities in fast-paced environment
    • Direct experience in the horse racing industry is a plus
