: Reviews all (REGISTRATIONS) pre-admissions and admissions to ensure that complete and accurate financial information and documentation is available. Position verifies benefits and insures all patients are advised of their financial responsibility, making appropriate financial arrangements according to the hospital’s financial policy.
Strong communication skills, customer service delivery, and ability to prepare and present sound financial arrangements for collection required. Knowledge of medical insurance, managed care contracts, and business office functions desirable. Advanced computer skills to include Word and Excel. Bilingual preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent GED. One to two years collections experience or equivalent.
Three years of hospital patient registration, including collections, or equivalent.
