Financial Planning Analyst

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our worldwide corporate financial services department as a Financial Planning Analyst. Our associates partner with other Capital Group departments to provide financial reporting and analysis, innovative solutions, and other insightful business information that impacts business decision-making.

Specific responsibilities for this role may include: preparation and review of management reports, performing variance and company allocation analyses with key financial drivers, development of line of business budgets and forecasts, streamlining and improving efficiency of reporting and processes and completing ad hoc projects. The individual in this role will interact/partner with associates at a variety of levels within and outside the Finance and Accounting area.

Hiring Criteria
Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related area
-Minimum 3 years of related financial analysis experience
-Ability to think conceptually and analytically about key impacts of operations on financial results
-Ability to work as a team member
-Initiative to work independently and contribute to department goals
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to identify process improvement opportunities for processes and reports
-Ability to lead others while maintaining effective business relationships with associates throughout the organization
-Strong computer skills, including Excel and experience with an enterprise accounting system such as SAP
