Reporting to the Senior Financial Reporting Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for various financial functions. More specifically the financial analyst will have the following responsibilities:

Oversight of the consolidation process during the monthly and quarterly close
Working knowledge of Cognos Controller
Prepare and report monthly financial statements including detailed variation analysis
Prepare of external financial management reporting
Continually providing an overview of the company’s financial status to the operations group
Prepare and review of adhoc reports
Consolidate the data for budget presentation
Improve the current budget and performance reporting process and increase the utilization of current financial systems for effective and efficient budgeting
Monitor the budget and any revised forecasts throughout the year.
Prepare detailed critical performance results and coordinating communication to stakeholders
Assist with the coordination of external audit
Assist in technical application of US GAAP and IFRS
Required Experience
Candidate Profile
Experience in complex consolidations and investment eliminations
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting from an accredited University
Demonstrated analytical skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a team environment
Accurate and detailed oriented
Solid abilities in working with Excel
Experience with the preparation of financial statements
Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced environment
