This position is primarily responsible for the preparation of annual and quarterly Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Forms 10-K and 10-Q, other ad-hoc SEC filings such as Forms 8-K, S-3, S-4, and quarterly earnings releases. Preparation of SEC documents includes formatting, edgarizing, and XBRL, as well as the compilation of supporting documentation to ensure all external financial reports are accurate, properly documented, tied-out and supported. This position will also be responsible for staying current on accounting guidance as issued and communicating new guidance to supervisor and other departments as necessary. Responsibilities also include required monthly/quarterly and annual governmental census/survey reporting, including coordination with numerous plants in order to meet required deadlines. Additionally, this position will assist, as necessary, in the preparation of quarterly internal executive financial reporting packages. The candidate must rely upon experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in a timely manner, including the ability to work under tight deadlines. The candidate must have excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as GAAP and SEC reporting knowledge. Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential to this position in order for the candidate to work with various departments and peers across the business and with various third parties. REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Requires broad knowledge in general professional or technical field. Also requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent in an academic field directly related and essential to this position. In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, SEC reporting and accounting processes are required. CPA designation preferred.

Experience: 5+ years of experience with 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Requires standard computer skills. Candidate must have working ability with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Candidate must have ability to perform technical research using various research tools. It is preferred that the candidate have some working knowledge of SAP as well as experience with Webfilings application.

Travel: 2+ domestic trips per year
