Our Financial Service Representatives (FSRs) are the first line of service and employees our members meet when they walk into the branch. These team members are here to build relationships with members and provide them with products & services that meet and/or enhance their financial well-being.
This is a sales role with daily performance goals which requires selling, making referrals and inquiring about the financial needs of the member, so a desire to work with people, ask for the sale, and meet the needs of the member is necessary. Our FSRs proactively meet with members in the branch or over the phone to make product recommendations. The FSRs duties also include, but are not limited to developing weekly sales action plans to submit to management, making loans within their assigned loan authority and exemplifying Texans Credit Union core values in all actions, communications and behaviors.
There may be times when an FSR is asked to attend networking events which may require short presentations. Additionally, this position is a senior non-exempt level position in the branch and as such is a mentor and leader in the sales process to other team members, so a strong desire to work with others along with a desire to learn and impart knowledge to others is very important.
