DESCRIPTION

To assist members and potential members with their Credit Union needs; explains services, sets up new accounts, refers products and services, responds to problems, and direct members to the appropriate people.

This position will be located at:
1235-A Providence Blvd
Deltona, FL 32725

This is a new branch location that is projected to open late June.

  • Bilingual in Spanish a must
DUTIES

70% - Assists members/non member with opening and closing accounts using Leadbuilder/Activity Manager program. Answers questions regarding products and sevices, and refers credit union products and services beyond the members stated needs. Resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve and refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.

10% - Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.

10% - Maintains member account information on computer system to including but not limited to: address changes, debit card maintenance, check orders, wire transfers.

5% - Acts as liaison between members/non members with various departments and vendors.

5% - Performs other related duties as assigned.

Expectations:
1. To provide and ensure that the Credit Union Service Standards are met on a consistent basis. The employee should obtain an average Quality Loop score of 2.0 or better each quarter.
2. Responsible for compliance with BSA, AML, OFAC, and CIP as set forth in credit union policy.
3. To carry out assigned responsibilities with zero errors as it related to member/non member interaction.
4. To make Transamerica referrals.
5. Employee must have full knowledge of credit union products.
6. Consistently refer credit union products and services using Leadbuilder/Activity Manager software to grow the credit union and serve our members.
7. To troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
8. To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience.

Education: A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.

Other Skills: Able to operate a 10 key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard.
